Now Available: Upload Multi-Body CAD Files with Ease
We’re excited to introduce a new feature on meviy that simplifies how engineers work with multi-body CAD models. You can now upload a single CAD file containing multiple solid bodies, and Meviy will automatically detect and separate each body into individual parts—creating separate projects for each one.
It’s never been easier to handle assemblies or complex designs.
How It Works
- Simply drag and drop a CAD file (e.g. .SLDPRT) into the meviy project screen.
- The system recognises up to 100 individual solid bodies and splits them into separate parts.
- Each part becomes its own project while remaining grouped under one assembly for easy management.
- Please note that full CAD assembly files like .SLDASM are not supported at this time.
